I am an International flight Attendant, based in Miami, FL. I am a father of a beautifual daughter not to mention my wife.. we do not have much but have everything…my wife lost her job 3 years ago and 1 year ago she got cancer but we are stronger than ever. She does not know I am trying to audition to be on the your show, it is a surprise for her, my daughter and specially for me if I get the opportunity to become their hero and to be a mentor to other people as well, my daughter’s birthday is the 26 of the current and my wife in 2 months…It will be a great surprise….I ran the Chicago Marathon @ 4 years ago, a tough mudder in Vermont and titans race in Puerto Rico, I am ready for this challenge, I was born to be challenge…the question is Are you ready for me???? I’ll be waitinng for your reply….

  • I spent over 15 years doing Airborne Reconnaissance as a Combat Crewmember for the USAF, flew 21 Combat Missions in Operation Desert Storm, and worked for the National Security Agency. I’ve faced some of the most physically and intellectually challenging work the U.S. Government has produced… also some of the most morally objectionable, which is why I eventually left. I’m now 51 years old and permanently disabled, but can still hold my own, whether physically, mentally, or emotionally. Perhaps you should consider someone like me to help test these ‘heros’. Just a thought.

  • Mark Pollak says:

My name is Mark Pollak, I’m a Corrections Officer IV with The State of Texas with nearly 5years of experience and Service. The reason I want to be a “HERO” on this show is because everyday that I go to work inside the Prison unit guarding Inmates, just stepping inside the Prison gates to go to work takes Heart, Guts, plus you have to be a little Scared and little Afraid to work there, because you never know if you are gonna leave in either a wheelchair or an Ambulance. For me to be a little scared and a little afraid is what makes me BOLD, STRONG and TOUGH on the outside. A “HERO” to me are the people of the U.S. MILITARY, Police, and PRISON that wake up each day put on a Uniform with the American Flag and Serve their Country, Protect and Keep the Streets clean and Safe from Criminals, and Serve the Country to Protect The Cities from the Inmates that are Dangerous. Everytime I walk through the gates at my unit I always want to walk out the same way that I walked in, In One Piece. I’m a 30 year old Married Man from Silsbee, Tx.. I am Athletic, with a big Heart and Love to Mentor People, and I’m very Competitive.

  • Stephanie says:

Hi my name is Stephanie, I run a staffing firm in Miami Fl. I am 29, extremely friendly and very competitive! I dinamic personality and a little bit of Latin spice. I think I would make a great addition to the future cast mates!!!

  • PATI "BOOMBAH" LEAANA says:

HELLO! My name is pati leaana aka “BOOMBAH” I am a 29 year old “Samoan” male who resides in San Francisco California! I am a student who is currently attending “WYOTECH” trade school as an Electrician! I want to be on the tv show “THE HERO” because I want to prove to myself and my friends that regardless of your up bringings and where you were raised you can overcome those obstacles and become a hero to yourself or to someone else! When your raised in the the ghetto projects like myself, there are no heros or someone to look up to but there are difficult phases that you can withstand and go thru to rough you up and make you a stronger individual! “If it doesn’t kill you, it only makes you stronger” Also yo can’t do it alone in life, like that saying goes “Team Work Makes The Dream Work” I am a great team player and motivator, very competitive and “QUITTING” is not in my vocabulary. It would be a pleasure to be one of the next 2013 “the hero” cast member! God bless.

    Sincerely,
    Pati “BOOMBAH” Leaana

  • Eddie Thomas says:

My name is Eddie Thomas & I’m 48 yrs old & most of the occupation profiles I have read for your great show I have probably done. lol Well I was in the Air Force back in the mid 80′s & from there I basically started a career in law enforcement from corrections to a sheriff deputy to intelligence in some remote undisclosed locations in Iraq to tactical swat which is my current occupation for 8yrs… Now I’m not saying I’m all that because I’m not, but I’m no push over either & another thing is that I have been told on several occasions that I definitely don’t look my age, so watch out. lol I’m originally from Florida, but I have lived all over; I’m divorced, I have 2 kids one 25year old son & a 18year old daughter. I believe we were put on this earth to look after & protect one other, & I definitely DO NOT have a problem with starting that trend. Well TNT I welcome the opportunity to be a contestant on your new adventurous show “Hero”. Thank You!!

  • GH says:

Hi, I’m 39 years old, was a single mom until happily married last summer. Always had to fight my battles and deal with whatever life had to throw at me, without having to rely on any one else. Now, I’m happily married, however I am still willing to take on challenges and see how far I can go, till I break down. Or, I’m actually hoping that I would never break down, so this show could be a great opportunity for me, be it physical or mental challenges.

  • Armarni Johnson says:

I’m very outgoing, like to live for the thrill especially facing my fears! I am a supernatural evangelist for my church King Jesus Ministries. Supernatural meaning prophesying (the ability to know things of a stranger and sharing them to that person by listening to God.), praying for healings and for people to grow taller as well. All of this just to show that God is real and Jesus is alive. I had a hard life growing up but now I’m happier than ever soon to get married and always looking forward to try something new! I believe that when a person is put in a situation that is out of his environment then his heart will be revealed and I want to prove to myself that my heart is that of a HERO.

I just want to see what heroes are made out of. I will be the first to admit that I was usually the last one to be selected on the playground but that was then and this is now, 46 years later. Mind, body, spirit with the can-do attitude, I just have to at the very least, attempt to see what it takes to become a hero. There’s no greater fear than to let the show down if I’m given the opportunity to prove myself.

    Eh(Eddie) Xiong

  • Christian Piper says:

A car flipped in front of me on its side at 3am one saturday morning. Two people were inside. I jumped on top of the passenger door (the car was on its side driver door underneath) looked in and saw the driver unconcious and the passenger was awake but obviously had been drinking earlier he was half panicked half in shock crying for me to pull him out.A fire was starting near the engine bot had seatbelts on and from my position i could not pull them through the window had to act fast. Jumped down started rocking the car back and forth until enough momentum to roll back on all fours, without hesitation i crawled inside unbuckled the passenger he kept cryin” please save my friend “as i rushed him across the street i ran back jumped in rushing to find the seatbelt button half panicked by now myself but i managed to stay focused found it grabbed the kid (looked to be about 18-19 ) and carried him to where his friend was lying on the ground about 30 feet away. This boy was not concious the whole time but his grip to me was so tight ill never forget it. By the way i had dialed 911 before i even got out of my carbut they seemed to want to ask me the stupidest questions so i had to give the address and hang up. By the time any emergency responders arrived the car was in complete flames. I never heard a thing about it again. Never even knew there names.

  • Richard R. Esteves says:

After several drafts, and debating whether or not this was for me, I’ve decided to go for it and post my name for consideration. Although I’m a hero to my four boys Ages 7, 7, 14, & 15) already, this opportunity would significantly help my wife & I financially with overdue bills. I’m 42 years old, a football coach to kids in Kindergarden – 3rd grade, work as a Security Supervisor for a great employer in Paterson NJ, and a husband to my beautiful wife Jaime. If selected, it’ll not only be the craziest thing I’ve ever done, I believe that the experience could help me overcome some of my own fears, while bringing my relationship with my 15 year old son (Who lives with my ex-wife) that much better.
    Thank you.

  • Brian Wood says:

Tonight was the first time that I watched The Hero and I immediately wanted to become a contestant. I am a 23 year old single father of two handsome young and energetic young boys. They both look up to their father and I love spending time with both of them. I grew up watching “The Rock” on WWE (formerly WWF) and he was my hero) and playing football, as well as other sports. Since becoming an unemployed carpenter, I would like to be on The Hero and win the money to get out of debt and give my sons a better life than what I had growing up. There are all types of heroes, and I have what it takes to be a hero!!

  • I’m a 19 year old male. I am currently working as a server at applebees while attending classes at a local community college. I love my family and friends. I love sports, reading, and writing. I hope to be successful and have an impact on the world through whatever I do whether it’s playing professional baseball, being a successful author, politician, or whatever else I may eventually aspire to be and do. I know that this show would give me a jump start on anything I can dream to become or do. It will also test me both mentally and physically in a way unlike any other. I would make a good candidate for this show because I am courageous, a team player, and a good leader as well. I would do anything to help me and my team win, even if it means literary carrying a teammate to the finish line. I hope I am selected to undertake this unique and life changing journey.

  • Diamond Sapp says:

Hi, my name is Diamond Sapp
I am a mother of three girls and a grand mother of one girl. My children’s fathere died a year and a half ago and that has been very challenging
for my family. My children are now 22, 20 and 11. I am commited to being there for my children and making sure that they grow up to be trustworthy, loyal, honest upstanding adults who in turn will have a lot to contribute to the world in addition to enjoying all they can in life. By experiencing new things and taking chances. Most of all I try to show them and teach them to always do the right thing even when no one else will.
In the long run it only matters that you can live with yourself by knowing that you did the right thing as “the reward is the good deed itself”
I want to show my family that with hard work and perseverence and honesty that they will get far in life! My own mother did not instill that in me nor did she give me the confidence in myself that she should have. she did however show me EXACTLY what kind of parent not to be.

  • John Paulin says:

I have been checking out the show for a while. I like the fact of do things that push you to your limits mentally and physically . Now I’m looking to show all of the world to see that I can do anything I set my mind to do. I will rise to every challenge no matter what it takes

  • I want myself & my sister, Jessica Carrion, to be contestants on HERO! I am a single mom of a daughter entering her last year in high-school. I am also a high-school teacher, teen run community service project sponsor, help thousands of troubled teens get into college & get it paid for, & much, much more! From the abuse that I grew up in, to being surrounded by addicts in my family, to being a single mom, on welfare, to putting myself through college & facing 3 rounds of Cancer all while raising my daughter as if nothing were wrong, I started off in this life being handed tools & knowledge to help others & the strength to face it all so that I can show others how. My 24 year old sister & my daughter are my “road dogs”, from working out, to traveling & more, except for maybe that my sister has adored the ROCK so much that she missed all 3 of my graduations over the last 16 years, smh! So, we just have to be on the show, he totally owes me for stealing my “road dog” on those days, lol;-)

  • come get me.the rock aint got shit on me.billy bad

  • Alven De Jesus says:

My name is alven and I have nothing to live for except for my family after seeing the hero show I felt for once that I can prove to myself and America that I can be a hero in everyone’s heart and money is the answer and times and you have to overcome the temptation and win for the pride of being a hero. I’m 26 about to get married and want to achieve something in my lifetime being a hero to the world is an honor. Thank you

  • Jaja Smith says:

My name is Jaja Smith, my parents just split up and I’m aspiring to get back into college. My parents are struggling financially since the divorce to the point where they look to me to help tie up loose ends, and it breaks my heart that I can do nothing but sit there, while fighting to sustain myself. My only desire in life is to make a difference, to ignite a flame, or even just a thought, that one can be better than they’re settling for. Then I heard about The Hero, I want this so that i can instill hope within people, my family and friends, that they don’t have to settle for mediocrity, that they can be better. I want to give back, and I believe that The Rock is giving that opportunity, I want nothing more than to seize it and show that the impossible is nothing.

I work long 12 hour shifts to support my little family, it isn’t easy but ill do anything for them and I will always try to not let my son have without. I have a bachelors degree in criminal justice. I’ve worked security for a long time until my son was born and now I work at BMW for the foreseeable future. I would love to be on this show and show everyone what I’ve got. I’ve always put others before myself and I would for once love to get a shot.

  • Roger Luca says:

Wow … I just want to thank “The Rock” for this phenomenal TV Show …
Personally, I think that many people have this Hero inside of them and many of us like to prove ourselves that we have the skills necessary to be a Hero … Many of you ARE already Heroes … look at all the people that sacrifice what the have for the loved ones !!!

  • Walter Irvine (Rage) says:

As a former Soldier I know the price of being a hero. I lied to get into the Army and to get a top secret clearance. The Army taught me the value of being a person you would admire and I didn’t admire who I had become. I turned myself in so that I could regain my honor and integrity. The got kicked out but learned a valuable lesson in the proccess. It takes sacrifice to be heroic. Honor is earned every moment of every day. You can’t expect life to be easy or fair, but you can expect yourself to live up to the standards you create. I am currently going to school while taking care of my girlfriend. She is disabled and has diabetes. I also found out she is pregnant (YAY!). It’s not an easy life, but I love her and would do anything to show her. If I had the opportunity to prove how much she means to me, the world would know a new hero, and she would too.

  • Corey Sessions says:

I wanna be on The Hero so bad cause like the rock has mentioned about finding your mana I wanna find my warrior mana, I’m someone who has never took risks I’ve just always let opportunities pass me by but no more, one month ago I lost one of my best friends that I just graduated with he was only 19 & he always told me how great of an athlete I could be or how I need to take risks so now I’m doing that & if I was to go on the hero everything I would do would be in honor of him & no matter how much money I win if I do I have vowed to give it back to his family.

I am about to begin my 31st year in public education, am a single mother of a fantastic college freshman field hockey goalie, am engaged to a wonderful man, and am a group fitness instructor. I’ve taught cardio-kickboxing, cardio-fit, boot camp, and kick and tone. If you talk to any of the personal trainers with whom I have worked, you will find that I have NEVER walked away from anything they have ever asked me to do. I have also trained in Cross-Fit Style, and have trained in Isshinryu karate. I trust you will consider me a viable candidate/competitor in your next season.

40 yr.old father of 3. Former marine of 7 yrs. Until IED exploded and I was left with a piece of shrapnel in my spine. After 3 surgeries and 2-1/2 yrs. Of physical therapy I was finally able to walk again. I now want to live life to the fullest and prove to my children that if you want something bad enough and don’t give up you can achieve anything. Even if the odds are stacked against you. As far as being a hero goes, I do what is necessary for myself and my family. Dwayne Johnson aka THE ROCK. has been a long time icon of mine. So I talked with my family and I promised that I would not give up on trying to get on the show HERO. I keep my promises and have been exercising vigorously to show my family and this show if chosen that anyone can be a hero if you give it your all and believe in yourself. Thankyou for your time. Sincerely. Shawn. King. Former GUNNERY SERGEANT.

30yr old gentleman, honest at heart and have the motivation to fulfill my dreams. Originally from India, came to the US 7yrs ago as a student and currently working as a software Business Analyst. I will give it my all to win the challenge but with honesty and by gaining respect/trust of fellow team members. If given an opportunity i will certainly be a value add to the team and will not let the crew or the team down at any given point. More than a talker i am a do-er. I want to prove to my parents and friends that i am more than what they know me as and that an average guy like me and achieve his dreams. I have worked hard all my life to be where i am today but i have a long way to go. An opportunity to be part of the Hero challenge is one of them because it tests you in all aspects of life. If i can succeed at that level then i can become a better person to my parents, friends, wife, kids & strangers. Thank You, i hope i get a call for an audition at least.

  • My dream was to have stability in my life. Seeking the USA at 15 years old and trusting that one day I will find happiness and comfort in the arms of an American man that loves me. Abuse was not in the picture and never is for a 15 year old. I endured years of struggles and abuse from men verbally and somewhat physically abused me. I lived a life of strength and will. I managed to rise above and I do not know how but I did. My 2 boys are the best evidence of my determinations. I want to be able to help those young girls whose only influence have only been verbally abuse then. Draining them from eventually accepting that verbal and physical abuse from their husbands or loved ones and thinking they were wrong and they have done something wrong and somehow they deserve it. I have had those relationships that in spite of my success in business, I have permitted others to steal my happiness with their criticism. I want to show these men and women instead of allowing these people to continue and occupy space in their lives, that it is never too late to overcome these ingrained negative comments and still succeed at finding a secure happy place. I have learned that often times that I have been at my lowest it had motivated me to make extreme changes and to turn negative into positive. I want to make my boys proud of me despite of all the abuse and cheating they witnessed me experience. I want to show these people that treated me like I was not worth a dime in their lives and abused my love and devotion that I am an above average woman and my self worth and ambition to better my world is beyond what they can comprehend.
My last relationship ended recently. Was called fat at 113 lbs. not good enough, unlovable, while the guy is all alone cheating on me and traveling with another woman. I paid hefty amounts for counseling if selected I will use the winning money to open a center for counseling women and men in my situation. Sometimes you have to jump a cliff to know how to land. I am jumping a cliff now and I know I can do it.

  • Erik Graber says:

My name is Erik and I have lived for this type of action all my life. From the time I was small I was always the one that did what no one else could. I trained my life around rescue and the military. Unfourtunatly due to an injury I was denied for the service but didn’t spot me from doing incredible this. Incredible to my standards like out dog the blue riding a small motorcycle from east coast to west coast , sell the bike , jump on a 30 foot sail boat and sail around the world. I have not come across many challenges that I have not concorded. Now I’m 40 with a wife, 3 kids, 4 cats, and a dog. Still in pretty good shape and ready to feed that adventure / do good appetite. So hit send me something and I KNOW you won’t be disappointed.

I’m often told thank you, asked for advice and once in a while I’m even told by some grateful soul “Your my hero.” The problem is that in my mind I’m just one human helping another. I would like the chance to find out for myself if I am truly worthy of the name.

  • Olivia Hughes says:

My entire life I have always felt like I had something to prove. The reason why is that I am only 5 ft tall and I have a very strong-willed personality. I am more than okay with being short because it is a part of who I am. I haven’t grown an inch since I was 15 and that was 5 years ago! Anyways, I want to be able to show everyone that strength can come in all shapes and sizes! Also I want to be taken seriously this time because yes money would be amazing but it’s not all about that for me. What it’s really about is mainly proving to myself and my family that I can make something of myself and that I can actually do things that are pretty close to being impossible!

  • Freddie Alfaro says:

I just finished watching your show The Hero with my wife and children. She is the most amazing woman I have ever met in my entire life. I served in the US Navy for 12 years and travelled all over and there isn’t another woman like her. When we first met she was working 3 full time jobs to take care of her 3 children plus her parents who are disabled. Also she takes care of stray animals, nurses them back to health then find them new homes because she loves animals that much. She has been doing all this for the past 14 years. I fell in love with her oversized heart. I want her to be on your show The Hero so she can see what I see everyday I see her. She’s my own personal hero. Her name is Danielle Alfaro. I look forward to seeing season 2.

I am strong, articulate, intelligent and have a great sense of humor. I am a single father to a two year old girl of whom is the greatest reason for my ambition. I am struggling to keep our heads above water and figured “What the hell?”. I know that I am truly a hero, whether it be on a show or in real life. I am applying to this because I would like a chance to prove my quality. TNT is a great network and “The Hero” is an awesome show, both of which would be a great honor to be a part of. I can promise only to be myself and hope it’s the hero I’ve always thought myself to be. Thank you for your consideration…God Bless.

hi my name is Henry Edwards I’m 23 years old. I bring nothing special to the table except spunk guts and heart. I’m able to overcome anything with a goal in mind that do whatever it takes to achieve. On February 2012 I was hit by a drunk driver while walking on the side of the road three weeks later I was out of the hospital from being homeless for 7 years and learning how to walk again I’m able to overcome anything. I want to be on the show so I can prove to myself that I can do anything. and I want a better life for me and my wife. overcoming impossible tasks and obstacles is an everyday thing for me
