Days after Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck will don Batman’s cape and cowl we have learned that they will be holding auditions for actors of all ages for the film that is set to begin filming in Michigan in 2014. The studio said Affleck will star next to 30-year-old Henry Cavill, who will return for his role as Superman from “Man of Steel.” The movie will also feature “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Martha Kent. Production on the blockbuster film is expected to begin in metro Detroit and throughout Michigan sometime in the first quarter of 2014 and the casting directors are now holding castings and auditions for numerous extra and stand in roles. Batman won’t be Affleck’s first time in superhero garb. He played a blind Marvel crime fighter in 2003’s “Daredevil” and portrayed 1950s Superman actor George Reeves in 2006’s “Hollywoodland.” The Superman-Batman movie will be directed by Zack Snyder, who also helmed the blockbuster “Man of Steel.” Snyder is cowriting the story with David S. Goyer. The plot of the new Batman film is unknown yet but given the talent of Snyder and Goyer we are sure that the movie will be a hit among audiences across the globe.
The casting directors for the film have announced that they will be holding castings and auditions for several extra and stand in roles for the film.
